LAVAUX WINEYARD TOUR (FREE TOUR)

We invite you for a picturesque walk in LAVAUX, Switzerland's largest contiguous vineyard area with a more than thousand-year history. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, LAVAUX wine region is famous for its unique landscape, long traditions and absolutely stunning views!
Stretched on 32 km. between Lausanne and Vevey, this region is probably the most instagrammable location on the Lake Geneve shore.
Apart from enjoying the atmosphere and the scenery, you´ll learn the history of the region, the varieties of grapes that are grown here, local wine characteristics and why only around 1% of Swiss wine is exported.

This is a loop-tour of roughly 4 km starting from Lutry train station. How to get there:
- by train from Lausanne-Gare (main train station) to Lutry (2 stations, 5 min)
- by bus B9 from Lausanne, Bel-Air to Lutry, Voisinand and then 6 min walking to Lutry train station.

*Please note, the tour is roughly 4 km in length and is mainly hilly. Comfortable footwear and a bottle of water are advised.
